Office Coordinator

Title: Office Coordinator
Reports to: NE Regional Manager
Location: Sterling, Colorado
Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week)

Salary: $18.00-20.00 per hour

Position Summary:
Advocates for Recovery Colorado (AFRC) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Coordinator to provide essential administrative and office support. This role will ensure smooth daily operations, contributing to AFRC’s mission of empowering individuals in recovery. As the Office Coordinator, you will uphold the organization’s ethical guidelines and personnel policies while supporting our team and community initiatives.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in office management or administrative assistance. 

  • Proficiency in computer skills (e.g., MS Office, Google Suite, database management). 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Familiarity with AFRC’s projects and services is preferred. 

  • Willingness to undergo toxicology screening. AFRC is a drug and alcohol free workplace. 

  • Clear or acceptable Colorado Bureau of Investigations (CBI) check. 

  • Valid Colorado driver’s license, clean driving record, and active auto insurance. 

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and concisely. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. 

  • Cross-cultural competency with experience working with diverse populations. 

  • Lived experience in recovery and active participation in a recovery program or lifestyle is preferred. 

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the front office, including answering phones, mail distribution, and managing office supplies and equipment.

  • Maintain and manage AFRC databases; assist staff with data entry and resolve issues as needed.

  • Format, review, and assist with reports, presentations, and other written materials.

  • Coordinate meetings, manage scheduling, and take meeting minutes as needed.

  • Supervise the volunteer management system, ensuring smooth operations and volunteer coordination.

  • Collect and evaluate data (GPRA when applicable) to support organizational reporting and evaluation.

  • Ensure the office is organized, clean, and welcoming at all times.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support AFRC’s mission and operations.
