These trainings serve as the foundation for individuals aspiring to contribute to the peer workforce in Colorado. By combining education and skill enhancement, participants will be well-prepared to embark on their roles as Peer Support Professionals.
Training Requirements
Minimum 1 Year Active and Sustained Recovery: To ensure a rich learning environment, participants must have a minimum of 1 year of active and sustained recovery.
Payment Arrangements Prior to Training: Payment for the training must be arranged and confirmed before the start of the training session.
Limited Seating - Registration Required: Seating for the training is limited. To secure your spot you must submit a training application.
Complete a Training Application: All participants must fill out a training application in advance. Once your application is reviewed, you will receive instructions to proceed with registration. Only registered participants will have a guaranteed seat in the session.
Note: Due to the limited seating capacity, we recommend completing your application and registration promptly to secure your place in the training.
Peer & Family Support Training
Duration: 60 training hours

All trainings are approved by the Colorado Peer & Family Specialist Certification Committee.
Attendees will receive a certificate of completion. You must attend the entire training to receive the certificate.
